On Friday, April 17, the singer made a surprise appearance near the end of Carpenter’s performance, joining her onstage for “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.” The set also introduced “I Feel So Free,” a new duet tied to Madonna’s upcoming album, Confessions II.

The appearance came just days after Madonna officially announced Confessions II, which is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026. According to Billboard, it will mark her first full-length album in seven years.
